Request to delete your Artham Loans account and personal data.

Effective Date: January 01, 2026

Artham Loans respects your right to control your personal information. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Artham Loans account and associated personal data (including cases where you may not have created a full login), and the limited circumstances in which certain information may be retained.

Artham Loans operates as a digital lending facilitation platform, enabling users to access credit products offered by third-party Regulated Entities (REs), including NBFCs registered with the Reserve Bank of India.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request account/data deletion at any time, whether you created an Artham Loans account, applied for a loan, or only shared details for an eligibility or credit check.

Steps

  • Send an email from your registered email ID to info@aeiota.com.
  • Subject line: Artham Loans Account/Data Deletion Request.
  • Provide these details for verification:
  • Full Name
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Last 4 digits of Loan / Customer ID (if any)
  • Last 4 digits of a Government ID used for KYC (if any)

Timelines

  • We will acknowledge your request within 7 days.
  • We will complete eligible deletion within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain.

If you did not create a full account

If you believe Artham Loans processed your information during an eligibility or credit check, include the phone number or email used so we can locate your records.

2. What Will Be Deleted (Where Eligible)

Subject to legal and regulatory requirements, we will delete or de-identify the following data held by Artham Loans / Aeiota Solutions LLP:

  • Profile details, contact information, and login identifiers (if applicable)
  • Application data and supporting documents held by Artham Loans that are not subject to legal retention
  • Device and technical data collected through the Artham Loans mobile app (where stored by Artham Loans)
  • Marketing preferences and communication history (where applicable)

Backups

Deletion covers active systems. Backup copies are typically purged on automated cycles. Where backups exist, they will be overwritten or deleted as per our retention and backup policies within a reasonable period after deletion.

3. Data We May Need to Retain

We may retain specific information only for as long as required for legal, regulatory, security, or dispute-related reasons. This may include:

  • KYC-related records, audit trails, and compliance logs required under applicable laws and regulatory directions
  • Records necessary to resolve disputes, handle complaints, prevent fraud, or enforce legal claims
  • Information required for reporting to regulators and/or responding to lawful requests by government authorities

Important Note

Lending-related records (such as loan agreement, repayment schedule, collections history, and credit bureau submissions) may be retained by the Partner NBFC / Regulated Entity (RE) as required by applicable law and RBI compliance obligations. Artham Loans may not be able to delete data that the RE is legally required to retain.

Any retained data will be restricted and used only for lawful purposes, and deleted securely once the retention period expires.

4. Outstanding Obligations

If you have an active loan, unpaid dues, or unresolved obligations, deletion may be paused until all obligations are settled.

You may still submit your deletion request. If anything is pending, we will inform you of the necessary requirements.

5. Confirmation

Once your request is fulfilled, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your account and associated personal data (except records required to be retained under law or regulation) have been deleted or de-identified, as applicable.

By submitting a deletion request, you confirm that you understand the conditions in this policy. Artham Loans may update this page from time to time, and the latest version will be made available on the Artham Loans website or mobile application.
